On 25-26 August 2016, Evolve in partnership with The Uganda Law Society trained 40 judges and advocates from the General Court Martial and Court Martial Appeal Court. The training covered sentencing and mitigation in criminal cases from both a domestic and international law perspective. The event was attended by senior members of the military and the seminar was delivered by Declan O’Callaghan of Landmark Chambers, Tanya Murshed and Jacqueline Lule. Additionally, Evolve participated in seminars on criminal procedure and practice which were delivered by the The Uganda Law Society and military.
